I would like to say 'congratulations' to the new officers for 2013. It's very exciting stepping up to take part in a new endeavor such as this. I remember when I first became an officer I was pretty nervous about it and I wasn't sure what I had gotten myself into, but the club made me feel at ease and as time went on, I became more comfortable with everything.
I feel that since I have been the Treasurer these past 3 years, we have come along way because of the ideas and hard work of the other officers (paypal, 2 years memberships, etc). I want to take this time to say "Thank you" to everyone for allowing me to be such an important part of this club. It is bittersweet for me, I will definitely miss the duties of being the treasurer, putting my "2 cents" in on major decisions and getting calls from Bob every other day to get my thoughts on things (not complaining in the least
). But now I have taken on more responsibility and my spare time has shifted to going back to school to get a 2nd Bachelor's degree. But I loved every minute of being an officer and I really will miss it!Again, thank you! And I know Steve will be super in his new role as Treasurer!
