Wow, this goes against what Ford has ever done, I can't believe we will also have a 300hp V-6. Ford is finally matching everyone in the HP race. WooHoo!

According to Auto Week Magazine, Ford has decided to muscle up the 2011 Mustang! The old V6 engine, dating back to the late 90's and producing 210 HP will be replaced by a new 3.7 Litre V6 pumping out an impressive 305 HP! This new engine, which beats the Chevy Camaro V6 by 1 HP is also rated at 30mpg highway! This will certainly tighten up the entry level Pony car market. In addition, Ford has also announced that 2 new 6 speed transmissions will be available and that the 2011 Mustang interior will be upgraded too. This is good news for Mustang lovers who have had to opt for a GT to get at least 300 HP. This also shows that Ford is not taking the Mustang for granted but is really counting on the Mustang for it's continued growth. Midnight Blue |

i read that the GTwill have 400 HP. from the Coyote Motor and Shelbys will have thr roadrunner motor. forget the HP on them. |
