Dude, Too bad you did not have the trunk open, we all would have liked to see the famed festiva. Rumor has it that this new ride is actually its tow car, (well maybe not a tow car - more like a ride car):-)

Nice ride Jim! This car looks like it was well taken care of and should be easy to restore to like new condition with a little detailing.

As I recall, these big Fords were very comfortable and delivered great performance from the 351 CI engines.

Congrats on your "find" and best of luck with this car.

Thanks!! Yes, it was fairly well cared for, at least up until these last few years. She hasn't needed much more than maintenance items to get her roadworthy.

Oh, and she has name now;
One of my automotive students said it is "a big, green monster of a car".

and who is one of the most famous big, green monsters?

A friend of mine in high school had an early 70's Grand Prix and it was dark green and it's name was "Stegy" short for Stegosaurus. He had a little Stegosaurus on the dash. You need a little Godzilla.
