wow, that just made it into MM? Automotive news reported the troubles between SAAC and Shelby back in early Dec. It revolves around the lawsuits against the remanufacturer of Shelby cars in Texas (Unique Motorsports, or something like that). Shelby is refusing to renew a contract that permits SAAC to use the Shelby name and logo on merchandise. |

I remember reading about the battle in Texas. thats sucks, you think Shelby wouldn't care about who is making his cars. you think it would push sells up. |

the problem is that the Texas company was defrauding customers. They were taking deposits and full payments, and either not delivering a car at all, or delivering a car of significantly poor quality. Customers often waited almost 2 years before getting their cars, also. Shelby is declining to renew lisence agreements to protect themselves. |

There is definently two sides to this story, I urge anyone who is interested in the dispute to both read SAAC & Team Shelbys websites to fully understand the situation. I have been following this ongoing saga for a couple months myself. This could potentially be a big deal for quite a few people. |
