8 people died from street racing. from the police video i watched the officer said the 7 people died when the cars were doing a burnout and there was a Crown Vic coming down the road and there were people on the road that from all the smoke from the burnout the driver of the Crown Vic didn't see them on the road and hit them killed 7 on the spot and 1 died at the hospital today. didn't say what kind of cars here racing. it was a broken video on Yahoo news page.

What a sad event. When I first heard the story I thought some kids were out being stupid. But as the story unfolded these people are not young at all and should have known better. I guess all we can do is to keep them in our prayers

There were entire families out there at 3 or 4 something in the morning. Who is the heck takes their young children to illegal street races on a highway? Then they stand in the middle of the road and are suprised they get hit by a car. The gene pool definitely needs more chlorine or I guess in this case natural selection took over.
