I went to NYC last week and I left Maryland and it was raining like a cow pissing on a flat rock. So it was nice a cool and then the rain came to NYC; although not at the same intensity.

So I am in Little Italy because my wife wanted a knock off purse and didn't find any on canal st. So she is in this store and I go over to this bakery and I see Vinny Vella just sitting down and talking. It was his brother's deli and so right away I knew it was Vinny and so we talked for a while and got pictures. I gotta say he was very friendly and really fun getting to chat with a guy I saw in the movies (Casino and Soprano's).

Can't forget the tongue omelet I had at Carnegie deli and it was really filling as they didn't skimp on anything

And then I get back here and it has been quite warm this last week and hopefully it will cool off real soon.
